GTH Business Associates who are aware of the new Bioterrorism Act regulations will be helpful in educating their clients or members about the legal requirement to register and appoint a "U.S. Agent." You can help pass along the information and the registration process, especially for those Foreign Food Facilities that do not have representation in the USA or internet access.

By participating in our Business Associate program

• You help your clients and members comply with the new Bioterrorism Act of the USA. Any entity that does not comply with the dispositions of the new law will not be able to sell their products to the largest market in the world.

• You earn $50.00 for each Registration of your foreign clients or members. Business Associates such as an association might choose to pass along a discount of $50.00 to its members. Must register five (5) or more to qualify for the discount.

• You have no continuing responsibility or obligation. Your responsibility is limited to inform and help your clients or members register. You will have no legal or continuing responsibility to GTH, the Food Facilities or the FDA.

• You simply help inform and refer your clients or members to GTH. You simply provide your clients or members the information GTH will provide you regarding the new Bioterrorism Act and help them to register through GTH.

What is my responsibility as a GTH Business Associate?	You simply help inform and refer your clients or members to GTH. You simply provide your clients or members the information GTH will provide you regarding the new Bioterrorism Act and help them to register through GTH. You have no obligation to do anything else. Internet Registration – GTH developed an easy to use system to register via the internet. Simply inform your clients or members that have Internet access to use our services via our Bio-Site. The Registration Form can be filled out online and GTH will place the US Agent information for them and submit it to the FDA as required. Your clients or members can even pay the annual US Agent fee via our secure credit card processing. Fax Registration – GTH is also providing the registration service via fax. As the GTH Business Associate, you simply send to as many Food Facilities as you want a paper-copy of the Registration Form. The Food Facility completes the information needed and faxes it to GTH for processing and submission to the FDA. In the Registration Form, GTH is appointed as the US Agent as required under the Bioterrorism Act and obtains the FDA Registration Number, which a copy will be sent to the registering food facility.

There is no charge for this, unless there is a problem at the port with a shipment and you authorize an attorney to represent you. Why should I work with GTH and not another entity offering to be the US Agent?	The response is quite simple.
